ANTHONY NORDOFF, ARTIST

Anthony Nordoff was born in 1946. He grew up in New York City and attended Waldorf Schools in Spring Valley, New York City, Switzerland, England, and New Hampshire. He is a third-generation Anthroposophist and has taught art from coast to coast and exhibited widely in the US and his work is collected in both the US and Europe. He maintains a studio in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts.
"As an American painter with Native American blood, I bring you the three paintings of Bald Eagle, Mountain Lion, and Buffalo, symbols of thinking, feeling, and willing, out of this American soil. I used colors sacred to the Native American, streaming these symbols from the heart of the young American soul."
